Lemonade Stand

Aug 2, 2025 - Lou Lou's nieces and nephews were hanging out together and decided to have an impromptu lemonade stand. They served lemonade and strawberry lemonade. Last year, they used their profits to attend Disney together. This year, they decided to donate the money to Lou Lou's Pet Pantry, in honor of Auntie Lou Lou. They raised $226. Thank you to everyone who supported them!

A Season of Giving and Sharing

Dec 30, 2024 - We would like to thank everyone for their continued support through various donations. Over the past 3 months, Lou Lou's Pet Pantry has been able to provide supplemental food to the furry friends in our community.

Santa's little helpers wanted to take part in the season for giving and sharing to honor their sweet Auntie Lou Lou.  They filled 27 buckets of food for dogs and 17 buckets of food for cats. The refillable buckets are part of a new food dispensing system that was recently purchased by the Wheeler family to limit plastic bag waste.

The Wheeler family donated treats, toys, and stockings. Each dog and cat recieved a treat and a toy in their green and gold stocking in honor of Alyssa, as those were her favorite colors.

We would like to thank you all for your contintued love and support for our family and we wish you all peace and comfort in the new year.

Grand Opening

Sept 20, 2024 - Today, Lou Lou's Pet Pantry became a reality. The shelves have been filled with dog food, cat food, cat litter, and various treats in preparation of the grand opening on Wednesday, September 25. We are so thankful to everyone that has donated and helped us bring our vision of Lou Lou's Pet Pantry to fruition.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Andrea and the Longville Food Shelf for partnering with us to set up a dedicated space within our comunity to help animals in need in honor of our sweet Alyssa. We would also like to recognize Jane and Mia at the Nestle Henri's Company Store for being so helpful and kind in allowing us to purchase Purina pet food at a reduced price.

We would also like to thank Travis Grimler (Pine and Lakes Echo Journal) and Dave DeLost (Pine Cone Press - Citizen) for listening to our story and sharing it with others.

We are learning to live with the love Alyssa left behind and will continue to keep her memory alive.
